We may be a little...obsessed with the movie Obsession because we couldn't leave it alone, so we're back for round two and this time, Aurie joins the conversation. After sitting with the movie a little longer, we realized there was still a lot to unpack. We revisit the twists, the uneasy atmosphere, and all those moments that had us questioning everybody's motives. We also break down the performances (because a look can say more than a page of dialogue), share a few theories, and talk about the choices that made this movie so hard to shake.
As always, the conversation goes in a few unexpected directions, with different opinions, plenty of laughs, and Aurie bringing a fresh perspective to the table. In the shadow of the COVID 19 Global Pandemic, the Dumb Dialogue with Dad Podcast started on this day six years ago. Our first episode was rantings and ravings about Gen Z vs Millennials so to celebrate our 6-year Pod-aversary, we are releasing a remastered version of that first episode. Even though it has been remastered, there are still some clear indications that we were beginners on the production side, but this episode was so much fun to record.

Our first-ever cruise experience 🌊Aurie's negotiation for early exams on the day we flew to Florida 📚Attempted to use Holiday Parties at Disney World for shorter lines 🎢Rain foiled plans at Hollywood Studios; saw Cirque De Soleil at Disney Springs instead 🎪Managed to enjoy short lines for rides at Magic Kingdom's Holiday Party the next day 🎠We even managed to get a boarding group for Tron 🏍️, the newest ride at Magic Kingdom 🏰Aurie was getting motion sickness on the ship 😵The food was great; Dad and Mom ate pizza with grapes on it🍽️Dad liked trivia, Mom liked the décor, and the girls liked the teen club, Vibe 🤓Spiderman called Mom Pretty Young Thing at dinner the first night 😄The girls wandered around the ship freely 🚢Watched some movies at the theaters 🎬🍿🎦Played some bingo and won exactly nothing 😅🎱We made some crew friends and Yani made friends with other teens at Vibe. Aurie did not. 🤷🏿‍♀️Shoutout to all the crew members, including our state room attendant, servers, and store attendants for taking care of us with exceptional service! 🌟

Life has been life-ing, so no new episode this week. Our travel experience included:👉🏿 Multiple canceled flights 🚫✈️👉🏿 Standing in endless lines 🛑⏳👉🏿 Multiple rental cars 🚗💨👉🏿 Driving over 1,200 miles in just 2 days 🛣️💪🏿👉🏿 Disney World magic to top it all off 🏰✨
And, of course, this trip included Dad’s parents and brother, so we were extra motivated to salvage the journey. 💪🏿💼
In this episode, we also:🎭 Dive into Aurie’s hilarious version of the Seven Dwarfs.😵 Talk about both girls’ tired eyes playing tricks on them during the late-night drive from Palm Beach to Disney World.🕒 At 14:38, hear the girls groan about how long it felt like we had been recording.
