In this episode, Dad and Aiyanah do their standalone episode without Aurieanah. Don't worry, she'll be back in the next one. Anyway, this is the episode where we learn that Dad has been watching some form of Batman most of his life and because of this, he thinks he's a philosophical expert on the plight of Gotham City. Also, Aiyanah may or may not have had the beginning stages of a cold and makes sniffle noises throughout. Feel free to make a game out of it, similar to her bird noises in the Hawkeye episode. We also learned that Dad watched the Twilight movies in his downtime on deployment in 2011. Lastly, some strange feedback happens at about the 15:30 mark. Don't worry, it's not too distracting but it may be the kick in the pants Dad needs to buy a new podcast recording kit.

In this episode, we finally get around to talk about Hawkeye. We were in rare form when we recorded this so here's a few things to be aware of in this episode:
1. Aiyanah makes bird noises throughout the entire episode for no good reason. We suggest that you make a game out of it.
2. Aurieanah still doesn't like Loki.
3. Dad had a very bad headache.
4. A discussion about silverware and cutlery was not edited out.
5. Aurieanah calls Clint's quiver a "backpack thingy" and uses "sciencey" as a verb.
6. Aiyanah at one point sniffs dad and says he smells like man, but it's not a compliment.
7. Dad notices that Aurieanah's fingertips bend, and this does not get edited out at Aiyanah's request.
8. There is an Agents of SHIELD tangent that will almost make you think the episode is about Agents of SHIELD....but it's not. We promise.
This one is for sure full of "dumb stuff". Listen in!

Aiyanah sits this one out, so Aurieanah and Dad get to nerd out on Star Wars! During this extended episode, Aurie surprises herself by being good at metaphors and has some stuff to say about Episode I of the Skywalker Saga. Plus, Dad and Aurie disagree about Rey, but agree that the Jedi just suck. There may be a part II to this one, but in the meantime, take a listen!
By the way, we made a mistake and called Daisy Ridley, Daisy Reed....our bad.

Happy Black History Month! In this episode, we decide to take a break from the movie and TV show reviews to discuss key figures in Black history. Aiyanah talks about the courageous Ruby Bridges, Aurieanah gives us details about Coretta Scott King, the loyal wife of Martin Luther King Jr., and Dad tells us about Civil War hero Robert Smalls. Plus, Dad gives a shout out to Stuff They Don't Want You To Know and Hysteria 51 because...he's somewhat famous and used to work for a major media company or whatever. Dad be doing stuff. This one is informative and important, with a little silliness mixed in. Take a listen!

In this episode, we talk about the latest blockbuster hit masterpiece, Spiderman: No Way Home". Shout out to everyone that attended the 12:00pm showing of this movie on January 22 at the Santikos Embassy 14 Theater because it was lit! Plus, Dad apparently lied to his manager about being sick to get out of work back in 2008, Yani doesn't care much about Aunt May until this movie, Dad mispronounces the word Symbiote multiple times, and the girls forgot what happened during the mid-credits scene.
